Covering acne takes more than just painting your face with a great deal of makeup. You can cover your spots completely, while still giving yourself a natural and even looking skin tone. All it takes is a powder that is lighter than your skin tone, the right shade of cover-up, and a powder or cream foundation in the same shade.
Start by gently patting on the light powder, making sure to get your entire face, including under the eyes. Don’t put on too much, just enough for a light dusting. Blend well.
Next, use the cover-up, preferably an easily applied liquid base, and use it on any spots that you consider troublesome. For instance, dab a little on all pimples, and perhaps under your eyes if you have dark circles. gently pat it to blend it, never rubbing.
Last, use the foundation to cover the entire face, making sure not to miss any spots. Make sure to blend it well over both the powder base and the cover-up, making it look natural. This should give you an even and beautiful skin tone.
From there apply blush to the cheekbone, sucking in your cheeks to create a hollow, and you are done! The perfect acne cover, and without feeling like you are wearing face paint.
