The minute that a new smart phone is released, millions of eager consumers are willing to wait in line for hours in order to get first dibs. These consumers are not only willing to sacrifice a great deal of their time to be among the first people to purchase these smart phones, they are also happy to pay a premium price. On the other hand, most people end up waiting until the frenzy has started to die down before they venture out and get the latest mobile phones. Even if you wait months to get a new smart phone, you will probably pay the same price. Bargain shoppers will go to great lengths to save money on electronics, but if you are looking for an easy way to scoop up a brand new mobile phone as soon as it comes out you will need to look online.

Of course, you should be very cautious when you use the web to find these new smart phones. Clones, fakes and even stolen mobile phones end up on the Internet, and it can sometimes be difficult to discern the difference between counterfeits and authentic smart phones. Make sure that you are able to get a refund in the event that you are not satisfied with your smart phone. If you can’t find a refund policy, or if the seller is not willing to provide any guarantees you should continue your search elsewhere. Also look to see if you can find feedback from other customers so that you can determine if you are dealing with an honest company or not.

Putting your child behind the wheel of a car for the first time can be a scary experience. With the proper training and an emphasis on safety, your new driver will be ready to take on highways and high traffic destinations without a second thought. Teens text like it is going out of style, so how can you be sure that your child will refrain from it while driving? Installing the Brodit Proclip prior to giving your teenager a set of keys to your car will ensure that he or she does not text and drive. You can take it a step further by placing the cell phone into the clip before they take off. There is no such thing as being too safe when it comes to checking in on your teen, especially when they are making long trips alone. Answering the cell phone while driving is another risk that can be avoided if a hands-free mounting kit is being utylized. After your teen buys a new Nokia smart phone, pick up the best Nokia 5800 car mount so that an accident doesn’t occur when your child wants to check out some of the new features the phone has to offer. While you may continue to worry about your teen’s safety while driving, taking steps to teach them safe driving rules will help. Reiterate safety belt usage and tell your child that reckless driving can cause fatal results. With some experience, your worries will begin to fade when you observe that you teen really is becoming a safe driver.

For years consumers have been frustrated by the fact that a critical item such as the charger for their mobile phone is not always easy to replace due to the requirements set by the manufacturers that phones use specific chargers. In response to growing consumer complaints, the UTI (International Telecommunications Union), a subsidiary of the United Nations’ telecommunications branch, is giving its official approval to a “one size fits all” universal mobile phone charger. This solution will allow consumers to have less reliance on the charger provided by specific manufacturers and enable them to have more flexibility when it comes to replacing one that becomes lost or broken. The UCS solution is reportedly already being included by some mobile phone manufacturers, but the group’s approval of such a device should help it see widespread use in the coming years.

Part of the group’s aim in approving such a device ends up being both global in scope and environmental in nature. Chargers that are universal would cut down on the number of chargers produced each year and thus massively lower the amount of waste produced by chargers thrown away when consumers upgrade from one model of phone to the next. Already, manufacturers including Ericsson and Nokia have agreed to harmonize their chargers for the European market which is expected to cut down on thousands of tons of waste produced annually by phone accessories that are thrown away after they are no longer usable to their owners. Consumers looking for mobile phone deals are expected to embrace the universal charger ready models because their costs are reduced by use of this technology.
