It is no secret that having a baby changes your life drastically in numerous ways. It is a time of many new discoveries and adjustments. Vaccinations are vital to keeping your baby healthy as well as preventing many common childhood illnesses such as measles and mumps. Many of these illnesses can be life threatening but with vaccinations can be avoided. While not all things can be avoided entirely immunizing your baby can greatly reduce the risks of contracting these illnesses.

Taking your baby for regular well baby checkups not only ensure that your baby is growing properly but will also be helpful in detecting any possible health problems early on thus making treatment much more effective.

Aside from keeping your child healthy immunizations are required by state law and mandatory to be kept current for your child to attend daycare and school.
